“Atan” Inc. is founded in 1990 by its owner Atanas Zhelev in Burgas. He has more than 40 years experience in the woolen knitwear production. His company is 100% privately held family business. The factory is located in the industrial area of Burgas. The main building and its adjacent grounds are on a total area of 4 000 square meters.
“Atan” Inc. is specialized in the production of men’s, women’s and children’s knitting work. The product range includes sweaters, vests, polos, blousons, scarfs, hats, etc.
“Atan” Inc. starts exporting production to Germany in 1994. They start working with Mersini and Sauer. In 1997 they increase their capacity and start looking for new partners on the European market. In 2000 they start working for “Lacoste”. For the last few years, their business contacts have expanded significantly. The most notable amongst them are Quelle, Nechermann, Kookai, Cecil, Peter Gribbi, etc.
“Atan” Inc. uses the Shima Seiki knitting technique – 7, 8, 10 and 12 gauge. Their apparel machines are the latest models from leaders like Rimodi, KMF, Juki, Pfaff, Brothers. They work with yarn manifactured in Italy, Germany, France, Spain and Bulgaria.
Over 90 people with good or excellent qualification are working in “Atan” Inc.
